Contracts:

Your wedding is an important event, and you need vendors you can rely on. When you send a deposit and I accept it, I consider this a legally binding agreement. I promise to perform the services we agree on and provide the floral items we discuss, provided you send payments and information in a timely fashion.

I will generate detailed lists of the items you order, including descriptions, prices, delivery locations, times, etc. These will be considered part of our agreement. I usually do not generate a formal "contract" -- though if you would like one, I can certainly prepare it.

Below are a few general provisions that would normally be included in a formal contract. By sending a deposit, you agree that you have read this page and agree to these provisions.

General Provisions:  ("client" = you; "contractor" = me)

(b) To the extent required by law all work shall be performed by individuals duly licensed and authorized by law to perform the work.

(c)  Contractor warrants that it is adequately insured for injury to its employees and others incurring loss or injury as a result of the acts of Contractor or its employees.

(d) In the event Client shall fail to pay any periodic or installment payment due hereunder, Contractor may cease work without breach pending payment or resolution of dispute.

(e)  Contractor shall not be liable for any delay due to circumstance beyond its control.

(f)  Contractor is an independent contractor and not an employee of Client.

(g)
The Agreement between Client and Contractor shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the state of South Carolina.

(i)      Client must provide written notice to cancel this Agreement. Contractor will not refund the initial deposit.

(j)      Contractor must also provide written notice to cancel this Agreement. In such case, Contractor will refund any monies paid and make reasonable efforts, when possible, to help Client secure replacement services.
